1. Homeworks are due September 27!
From: The EIN6 Planning Committee
Do not forget; your homeworks for the EIN6 meeting are due 27 September.
These homeworks are key to much of the learning you will achieve during this
network meeting. Please send your homeworks to Dave Gumbart at:
dgumbart(at)tnc.org.
If your email includes large attachments, you should warn Dave first so you
don't clog his email box.

2. Speaker PowerPoint presentations due September 22!
From: The EIN6 Planning Committee
Over and over, we have learned that audiences prefer to have paper copies of
the PowerPoint presentations in hand, while watching the presentation being
given. If you want to have the EIN6 Planning Committee produce paper copies
of your presentation for you, you must send your presentation to Hilary Oles
by 22 September (yes, this week!). If you need more time to work on it, you
are strongly recommended to create 70 stapled sets of copies to distribute
at the meeting. Even late presentations will be distributed in the
post-meeting electronica (i.e. via CDs and the GISI web site).
Contact Hilary at holes(at)tnc.org to coordinate sending her your
email-choking presentations.

3. Carpool reminder
From: Barry Rice (brice(at)tnc.org)
Do you know how you are travelling from the airport to the meeting site? If
not, you should refer to the carpool information we have posted for your
convenience (url below). Do this as soon as possible, because I will be
away from my computer during the week of 25 September and will not be able
to assist you!
At the workshop, we will start a list for transportation returning to ALB at
the conclusion of the workshop. Taxis are also available for the 25 mile
ride from the airport to Saratoga Springs, which should cost approximately
$45 each way.

4. MANDY IS NOW A MOMMY!
From: Barry Rice (brice(at)tnc.org)
The only bad news about the exciting EIN6 meeting is that the fabulous Mandy
Tu will not be in attendance. But she has a great excuse. If you want to see
photographs of Mandy and the 7 lb 5 oz/19.5" long (3317g, 49.5cm) Linnea
Marguerite Rogers, follow the links below.

Mandy, Phil, and Linnea are all in excellent health. For those curious about
the origins of Linnea's name, here are some links Mandy provided:
