2. Updates to Eastern Invasives Network Web Site
From: Chris Wilson (christa_wilson(at)tnc.org)
(My shame: Chris Wilson sent this message to me back in early December,
and I MISPLACED IT. Here it is, delayed, but still in full glory---Barry)
Greetings Eastern Invasives Networkers:
We have recently updated the Eastern Invasives Network Web site:
http://tnc-ecomanagement.org/Weeds/. The site includes an overview of the
second network workshop, held last September in Massachusetts (see the
Workshops section); threat abatement priorities and strategies developed
by the network's focal landscapes as well as many of the participating
landscapes (see the Site Information section); and information about a
variety of new resources, including a new invasive species database,
results of a roadside invasives inventory conducted by the network's
Allegany Forests Project, and a wetland restoration program in Florida
(see the Resources section).
If you have any questions or comments please contact me via email or at
520-622-3861 x3466.

3. Second workshop materials coming your way!
From: Barry Rice (bamrice(at)ucdavis.edu)
After many delays, the powerpoints, photos, and supporting documents from
the Eastern Invasives Workshop #2 have all been gathered into one CD.
Wendy Fulks and Company will soon be duping the CD and sending a copy to
your addresses. FOR FREE! You'll laugh and cry, reliving workshop #2. All
the more reason to register on time for workshop #3!
