Staff Calendar
![]() |
For your convenience, I have included a link to our staff calendar here. If you are not TNC staff and found this page somehow, this will not be of use to you because you cannot enter the password protected area. Sorry!
If you click on Calendar-Catherine's face (to the top-right), you should be sent to our staff calendar. If this doesn't work for you, go to the intranet and find the list of TNC calendars by using the following menu tree:
Tools & Reports : Meeting & Communicating : Calendars : Group Calendars.
Our calendar is called Global Invasive Species Team.
Login using the System Option at the lower right part of the page.
To enter an event, click on the first relevant date on the calendar. For a one-day event, everything you need to enter is in the area under the green screen-wide bar labelled Add New Event. I recommend you put your name, and then message, i.e.
Barry R: Vacation in Sierra Leone.
Please type in your background color value. John likes the idea of assigning colors to staffers to make the calendar easier to read. I have tentatively made the selections below based on no reason in particular. If you do not like the assignments, please select new ones using color names from the color table near the bottom of this page. (I recommend a background color with middle tonal value so both black and white characters are readable against it.)
Multi-day events are created in the Repeat Information (Optional) section by selecting a repeat interval (usually Repeat Every Day) and an ending date.
After entering information, click create event, then view calendar (top left on screen).
The color assignments are as follows:
Staffer | Background |
Barry R: | Background=peru |
Catherine H: | Background=cyan |
Faith C: | Background=forestgreen |
Frank L: | Background=gold |
John R: | Background=white |
Mandy T: | Background=coral |
Silvia Z: | Background=deeppink |
Stas. B: | Background=royalblue |
Tunya M: | Background=limegreen |
Valerie V: | Background=darkorchid |
ALL STAFF EVENTS: | Background=silver |
