Dr. Toews was appointed Assistant Dean of the UGA Tifton Campus in 2020; he currently leads a dynamic group of over 600 employees including 81 permanent scientists. The rapidly growing Tifton Campus is experiencing record graduate enrollment, numbers of post-doctoral fellows, and research expenditures. Toews is currently leading initiatives to modernize campus infrastructure and a college-wide DEI plan
