Sandy River, Northern Oregon

Community outreach: Posters such as this were used to educate the community about the problems that knotweeds caused. And they were effective!

With plenty of work, education, and science, the Sandy River watershed is being successfully protected from becoming inundated by a sea of knotweeds.
