Early Detection and Quick Elimination of a New Invader in Southeast Alaska

Dense infestation: Once garlic mustard becomes established, it is nearly always inextricable. Alaska was lucky--the invader was caught early. The West Virginia preserve in this photograph will probably never be free of its garlic mustard.
