1. Colorants for Weed Spraying
From: Cindy & Lou Lunte (cllunte(at)cyberhighway.net)

We have had great success using Hi-light by Becker-Underwood as a dye
when spraying. It is bright blue at first but gradually fades away after
about 2 days. It makes it much easier to make sure you are hitting
exactly what you want - I wouldn't even think of spraying without it now.
As a extra benefit it also lets you know if you have any drips or get any
of the chemical on yourself or your clothes - a big plus in my view.

2. Colorants in Garlon 4
From: Bill Kleiman (nachusa(at)essex1.com)

For coloring Garlon 4 you want petroleum based herbicide colorants.
Blazon, I believe, is for water based herbicide. "Bas-Oil" Red Dye is
available at Forestry Suppliers and likely Ben Meadows. Very red and
lasts for weeks. Works great. Very concentrated. One pint is $22 and
would likely color 20 to 30 gallons of oil based herbicide.
