1. Educational materials from Hawaii
From: Stephanie Flack (sflack(at)tnc.org)
TNC-Hawaii has a glossy educational text and curriculum packet (for grades
4-12) on their invasive species woes. Pauline Sato in HIFO sent it to me,
and I'm sure they have more copies available in their office.

2. Chinese tallow control
From: Stephanie Flack (sflack(at)tnc.org)
Nancy Benton and I profiled the TXFO efforts to control Chinese tallow at
Mad Island Marsh Preserve (not in any technical detail) in an article
called "Invasive Species and Wetland Biodiversity," for the May-June 1998
issue of National Wetlands Newsletter. I'm sending a copy to Keith
Tassin. If anyone else would like a copy of the article, which focuses on
the negative effects of invasives on wetland biodiversity, they can request
it from Angella Streeter (astreeter(at)tnc.org or 703-841-5378).
