Meleager's Blue, Polyommatus daphnis a myrmecophilic butterfly tended by Lasius, Formica,Tapinoma.Wingspan ca 36-38mm. Hindwing has ruffled or scalloped edge which is more pronounced as butterfly ages. Upper wings have variable marbled patterns. Males are unmistakable topaz blue. Females brown. Often found on Lathyrus latifolius, Perennial sweetpea. Larvae feed on Coronilla varia.
