The erect hairs are long, acuminate, flexuous and moderately abundant, but are never bifid. Used in Antkey to separate Tetramorium bicarinatum, Tetramorium insolens, Tetramorium caespitum_cf, Tetramorium pacificum, Tetramorium tonganum and Tetramorium tsushimae from other Tetramorium species.
