Description:
The entire body is orange to reddish brown, excpet for the gaster which is a distinctly darker brown to black. Used in Antkey to separate Tetramorium bicarinatum, some specimens of Tetramorium caldarium and some specimens of Tetramorium simillimum from all other Tetramorium.
