Seed(s); Spikelets on the inflorescence are paired, one sessile and the other pedicellate; when separated, the sessile spikelet (illustrated) has attached pedicel and rachis segment; the pedicillate spikelets lack these structures. Spikelets are 3-7 mm long. Callus hairs are 2-3 times as long as the spikelet. There are long silky hairs on the rachis and pedicel; the upper margins of the glumes are ciliate.
