1. Registration now open for Eastern Invasives Network Meeting #2
From: Barry Rice (bamrice(at)ucdavis.edu)

Please register now if you wish to participate in the next Eastern
Invasives Network meeting, to be held 24-26 September, in Pittsfield,
Massachusetts. If you wish to participate, but you or someone else from
your site did not attend Meeting #1, contact John Randall
(jarandall(at)ucdavis.edu, 530-754-8891) for approval.

The registration deadline is 16 August. You will receive an e-mail
confirmation immediately upon completing your registration. If you do NOT
receive confirmation, contact Jen Schimmenti (703-841-7490,
(jschimmenti(at)tnc.org).

Register by pointing your web browser to:
http://tnc-ecomanagement.org/Registration/index.cfm?meetingid=10

General information about the network and its meetings (including a
tentative agendum, information about the meeting's field trip, the hotel,
and driving instructions to Pittsfield) is at:
http://tnc-ecomanagement.org/Weeds/

Some logistical factoids:
**The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield,
  Massachusetts.
**When you register for the meeting, your hotel reservations will be made
  automatically.
**Hotel rooms are $109/night. If you wish to share a room with someone,
your cost will be only $54.50/night.
**The airport closest to the meeting site is Albany International Airport
(New York). Bradley International Airport (also known as
Springfield-Hartford, in Connecticut) is just a bit further, so check
  airfares to both locations.
**It is not trivial getting to Pittsfield from Albany or Bradley airports
by public transportation. We are still verifying if shuttle buses are
available from the Albany airport to the meeting site. If you want to
arrange to carpool from an airport with other meeting participants,
contact Jen Schimmenti (jschimmenti(at)tnc.org) by 12 September.
