1. Giant hogweed (New York)
From: Sandra Bonanno (sbonanno(at)tnc.org)

Giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum) is being noticed in Tug Hill
wetlands, northern New York - how dangerous is it? Does anybody have
experience with it?

2. Weed wrench rumours unfounded (Nationwide)
From: Barry Rice (bamrice(at)ucdavis.edu)

There have been some foul rumours that New Tribe is no longer in
existence, and that you can no longer buy Weed Wrenches. I just called New
Tribe and determined these rumours are FALSE. You can still buy Weed
Wrenches, and the pricing guide on our web site is still current. For more
