Description: English: At the feeding site, there is an accumulation of droppings interspersed with silk, much like sawdust, are being expelled at the entrance hole which will block the entrance to the gallery, protecting the insect from excessive moisture and natural enemies. Portuguese:No local de penetração da broca, nota-se um acúmulo de excrementos entremeados com fios de seda, muito parecidos com serragem, no início vão sendo expelidos pelo orifício de entrada que depois irá obstruir a entrada da galeria, protegendo a broca da umidade excessiva e de seus inimigos naturais.
