Silver Carp from the lower Arkansas River near the confluences with the White and Mississippi Rivers. Silver carp are numerous and large in this area. Fish are often scared by boat motors and many fish jump 5-10 feet in the air around and into the boat regularly. This species was present, but not encountered during surveys in 2003, but is very common as of surveys performed in 2011.
