wildfire of tobacco
Pseudomonas syringae pv. tabaci (Wolf & Foster 1917) Young et al. 1978

Host: dark tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum (dark type) L.)
Descriptor: Symptoms
Description: On dark tobacco, narrowleaf madole shown, the spots have a little bit different look on dark tobacco because you do not usually see the yellow halo you will see on burley varieties, although a grouping of spots can cause an area of the leaf to turn yellow. Also interior portions of the spots look darker than those on burley.
