Descriptor: Foliage
Description: A New Zealand shrub or, in time, a small, multi-stemmed tree. Not hardy throughout UK, especially inland, but in the milder West it makes an excellent hedge or wind break being very tolerant of salt laden winds. Very easy to propagate from Autumn hardwood cuttings. In favoured areas it will set seed but as yet does not seem to be an invasive. Can be cut back hard or even coppiced if required.
