Descriptor: Symptoms
Description: Early stages of Java Black Rot.  The rot is firm, moist, and black.  Look for locules in the stromatic tissue containing spores.  It is a serious storage rot that develops rapidly.  The fungus is often called Diplodia tubericola.  (Jewel, Jan 73)
