1. Flowering branchlet; flowers are in drooping racemes terminal on leafy shoots from lateral spurs with leaf-like bracts at base. Stipules at n. - 2. Branchlet with the leading shoot and short lateral ones with fruits (drupes) from spurs. - 3. Seed (stone). - 4. Seedling with cotyledons (c) and first leaves. - 5. Winter-branchlet; buds are tapered toward the apex, dark brown. - 6. Twig of the variety 'Leucocarpos' (= P. salzeri Zdarek) with ripe green fruits. - 7. Seed of the variety 'Leucocarpos'.
