Description: 1. Branchlet with male strobiles. - 2. Branchlet with female (a, b) strobiles (cone-inflorescences), and one year old developing (immature) cones (c, d). - 3. Mature branchlet with conelets and terminal bud (needles partially removed). - 4. Branchlet with ripe, open cone. - 5. Seed scales from outer (abaxial, a), and inner (adaxial, b) sides. - 6.
