Nancy received an M.S. degree in Plant Pathology from Penn State University, and worked in the Fusarium Research Center there for five years. She spent four years at the University of Florida Tropical Research and Education Center in vegetable pathology, and came to the University of Delaware in 1993. As an Extension Agent for UD, Nancy manages the Plant Diagnostic Clinic, and does outreach for Cooperative Extension. She teaches a course entitled Introduction to the Fungi, and has given numerous guest lectures, short courses, and Master Gardener training. She also works in cooperation with the Delaware Department of Agriculture and USDA/APHIS on pest surveys and detection.
